Tray Dub, Langstrath

A gorge in the bedrock in Langstrath, an arm of Borrowdale, the wettest place in England. Upstream and downstream the beck is wide and somewhat meandering. The deep and spectacular channel may have originated along a fault in the geology eroded by glacial meltwater.
