Arisaig Beach

It’s easy to be overawed by the grandeur of the mountains, lochs, sunsets of the west coast of Scotland and overlook the beauty of the detail. The beaches of Arisaig are not of sand but of millions and millions of tiny pieces of coral and shells, the largest no bigger than a 10p piece. Each piece of coral, if magnified a hundred times, would do proud as a Sir Henry Moore sculpture.
