Great Gable Summit

Remembrance Sunday and hundreds of walkers climb to the summit of Great Gable in the Lake District for the annual service to remember those who gave their lives in the 1914-18 war. A plaque on the summit records the names of the 20 members of the Fell and Rock Club who died during the conflict, out of a club membership totally just 60.
