Roseberry Crag

The frozen mud makes a welcome relief, a faint frost can be seen on the fields across the carrs to Nunthorpe. I’ve posted this photo of Roseberry crag because of the precarious overhanging boulder. It can’t have many more years left. Someone has managed to carve his initials on it. Must have been done upside down, makes me feel giddy just thinking about it. The crag is not used much for climbing as it’s considered soft and grumbly.
