Flassen Dale

A day spent in the Tabular Hills, the southern half of the North York Moors. The limestone plateau of rich farmland is cut by several sheltered, steep sided valleys. Flassen Dale reminded me of a mountain meadow in the Jura Alps. Warm, humid and lush the bottom covered with swathes of Cow Parsley.
